Micaela Soto is a professional hair and makeup artist based in Dallas, Texas who is skilled in a variety of artistry including editorial, print, fashion, bridal and commercial capacities. Though based in Tulum, she has worked with a large clientele in all forms of media both domestically and internationally. 

 

As a makeup artist for M.A.C. cosmetics, Micaela began her career and after five years of training she acquired the necessary skills and confidence to be able to work with all ages and ethnicities. Her career as a freelance makeup artist quickly took off and she found herself on many world-class sets. Working alongside some of the top hairdressers in the industry, it soon became evident she desired to become more than just a renowned makeup artist. 

 

Determined to let her creativity run free, Micaela received her cosmetology license from the Paul Mitchell School of Hair Design. She then had the advantage to give every client the ultimate beauty experience including her talents as both a makeup artist and hair stylist. 

 

Micaela’s eye for detail, along with her natural talent and humble personality, have allowed her to develop an extensive list of clientele who have helped to propel her to the “top-tier” of new-age beauty gurus. 

 

Micaela’s work has been featured in elite media forms including D Weddings, Good Morning Texas, and Brides of North Texas. She has also had the privilege of collaborating and partnering with several organizations including Miss America, Miss USA, Miss Texas, The Dallas Stars, and Hooters of America. 

 

Whether working on location at a beach in the Bahamas, exceeding the expectations of a bride on her special day, or catering to her clientele’s needs at the  salon, Micaela seeks to enhance the beauty of every client through the expertise and skills she has perfected through her years in the beauty industry.
