Contract

1. General: Micaela Soto Makeup & Hair (referred to as "we," "our," or "us") provides professional hair and makeup services for various occasions, including weddings, events, commercial projects, and photoshoots.These Terms and Conditions apply to all clients ("you" or "client") booking services with us.

 

2. Booking Policy: A deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking. This deposit is nonrefundable and will be applied to the total cost of your services. Appointments are confirmed only after the deposit has been received. Bookings are subject to availability. We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your desired date and time.

 

3. Payment: Full payment is due 30 days before the day of the service, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of your appointment. Payments can be made via accepted payment methods, e.g., cash, bank transfer, and all major credit cards. A 3% surcharge will be added to all credit card transactions.

 

4. Cancellations and Refunds: Cancellations must be made at least 30 days in advance of the wedding. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferable to another date if rescheduling is requested at least 14 days in advance and subject to the artist's availability. In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your appointment, we will provide a full refund of any payments made.

 

5. Travel Policy: Travel within Todos Santos is included in the service price. For locations outside this area, additional travel fees may apply. If accommodations are required for early morning or late evening bookings, the client is responsible for covering the cost.

 

6. Client Responsibilities: Please ensure you arrive on time for your appointment or are ready at the agreed-upon location. Delays may impact the quality of service. Please notify us of any allergies, sensitivities, or skin conditions prior to your appointment. For group bookings, it is your responsibility to ensure all members of the group are present and prepared for their scheduled times.

 

7. Touch-Up Services: Once hair and makeup services are complete, the artist’s work is considered finished, and they are free to leave. If the bride or bridal party wishes to have the artist stay for touch-ups, an additional fee of $100 per hour will apply.

 

• The hourly rate begins once the agreed-upon “ready by” time is reached and is calculated based on actual time used.

• The “ready by” time will be determined by Micaela and provided to the bride in a timeline approved by the bride. 

• Touch-up services must be requested in advance to ensure availability.

 

8. Service Limitations: We reserve the right to refuse service if the client displays inappropriate behavior, is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or fails to meet hygiene standards. We are not liable for any issues arising from undisclosed skin conditions, allergies, or sensitivities.

 

9. Photography and Marketing: With your consent, we may take photographs before and after for portfolio and marketing purposes, including social media. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform us in advance.

 

10. Liability: We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and professionalism (e.g., sanitized tools and disposable applicators). However, we are not responsible for any adverse reactions to products used during the service unless due to negligence on our part. It is the client’s responsibility to communicate specific needs or concerns prior to the service.

 

11. Changes to Terms and Conditions: We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website or provided upon request.

ACCEPTANCE OF CONTRACT: By booking from this site, the client agrees to the terms, payment policies, and cancellation policies outlined in this contract.
